  • Overview

    Reporting to the VP of Finance and Accounting, the Financial Analyst and Planner will join an iconic media brand as it continues to expand and roll out exciting new digital products and content. Playboy is looking for a smart, detail-oriented person to serve as the Financial Analyst and Planner. This person will be responsible in supporting the company’s FP&A requirements. This role will involve supporting analysis for long-term planning options, tracking key business operational metrics, and producing monthly financial/operational reports. This role will require strong organizational skills to help manage the departments expenses, guide discussions with senior leadership across the department, and evaluate/implement strategic operational projects for top management.


    • Develop, analyze, and maintain complex financial models to support the Media Business (subscription modeling, advertising, licensing, etc.)
    • Prepare & analyze financial revenue, rate of return, cash flow analytics, capital expenditures, & overall working capital.
    • Create & prepare consolidated forecasts and budgets while incorporating analysis trends.
    • Partner with various cross functional teams to gather feedback and build robust analytics.
    • Work with VP & CFO to develop insightful analyses for Senior Leadership on critical business projects and studies.
    • Provide input through business modeling and analyses to support strategic decision making in day-to-day operations.
    • Drive quarterly board deck preparation and execution.
    • Responsible for generating and preparing reports to support the operations and finance team.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.


    The ideal candidate will…

    • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related field
    • CPA preferred
    • Have a minimum of 2 years of finance or accounting experience with media/entertainment company a plus
    • Have strong communication skills both verbal and written
    • Able to identify issues and make recommendations for solutions
    • Ability to work independently and as a team member with strong interpersonal skills
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and comfortable working within a consolidation software system
    • Be comfortable in an unconventional workplace—the company’s businesses include the depiction of nudity in still photos, artwork and video; as a result, employees are regularly exposed to such depictions as a normal part of the work environment
    • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
